[ Uendo might be surprised at the arrival of Primrose with a letter stamped with the official Jue seal, who doesn't appear to be altogether pleased about this exchange at all from the way she huffs every so often. Yet her lady had been so persistent, so what could she do? ]
Dear Uendo,
First, I extend my apologies for leaving the Center so abruptly. For all the friction involving Outworlders that was encountered, I would rather not have departed it and the responsibilities, much less without a proper goodbye to those who have been so good to me as you yourself have been.
News has reached me that you are organizing an expedition to Mad'ni Shrine to the southwest. When I was young and beginning my education as a White Mage, I would be taken to the shrine as a means to strengthen my magical potential. Though there are those who say the waters there are of nothing special, I believe differently.
Although I'm unable to accompany you personally, if there is anything with which I can help you please let me know. Do be careful, because the area around it is highly venomous—I would suggest preparing measures to combat all the poisons. But once within the boundaries of the shrine, I hope you find peace in the benevolent aura originating from the spirit who dwells there.
You may also pay close attention to the hymns the workers carry. I don't recall them exactly, but they might hold some clues.
[It is indeed a surprise, though a very pleasant one. Uendo quickly writes a reply.]
Dear Sylvarie,
It's so good to hear from you! I admit I was a little worried when you left, but I can't really blame you considering everything that happened. You have nothing to apologize for, I assure you.
And thank you very much for the advice -- I'll be sure to account for the possibility of poison before we head out. Out of curiosity, do you have any idea whether the spirit of the shrine could be an Eidolon? I haven't been able to ascertain that myself, but it would be a pretty significant lead if it were true.
All that aside, how are you doing? It's been a while since I last got to chat with you or any of the other former Curti Center employees. It would be nice to meet up again if you can spare the time. Perhaps we could arrange something after I get back?

Sorry this is late! Player plots ate me.
